Ambivalence of fortune

In life and its attributes there will always be oscillation between negative and positive outcomes when it comes to fortune. Why fortune? because most of these outcomes are unmanageable. In these types of outcomes a dichotomy-perhaps a node-appears. The former subconsciously dictate the following endeavors after the node appears: whenever a node appears, and by node I mean any set of events different to the current ones, there always is ambivalence between the positiveness and negativeness of the event, the event might be 99% positive and 1% negative to our eyes, or vice versa, but we will never know the accurate oscillation of such statistic therefore one has to orbit towards one side of the dichotomy just encountered, whichever that side is, will dictate the next move taken in the upcoming node. If we proceed with the negative view, another dichotomy appears since analysis on the negative part yields two sets of byproducts (as well as a decrease in margin of error): retrospection-comprehension-retake and retrospection-presumpition-neurotism; the latter uses the byproduct as a means of enhancement, the former just aggravate everything. On the other hand, if we proceed with the positive view, we yield confidence-empiricism-process, which enhances our fortune. Don't get me wrong, both are beneficial, but with the former there's this chance of falling into the former's latter. A quote by Bauman describes this quite well: "There is always the possibility of blaming a mistaken choice, rather than an inability to live up to the opportunities it offered, for the failure of the anticipated bliss to materialize. There is always a chance to abandon the road along which fulfillment was sought and to start again - even if the prospects look attractive, from scratch" (Bauman, Liquid Love). One has to understand that every event in life, every node we encounter is evidently or imperceptibly filled and immersed in uncertainty, sometimes that uncertainty is reigned by subjective or intersubjective natures or possibilities, therefore one is always smiling on thin ice, and the only way to not get frightened or neurotic by the evidently or imperceptibly risk of an undoing, is by trusting those nodes mentioned above.
